Grace Cleaves is a corporate leader and executive and has consulted with health and business organizations throughout the U.S. Her direct, compassionate style puts high-performing health leaders and executives at ease, while expertly guiding them through outcome-focused work. She is a results-oriented, tech-savvy entrepreneur whose passion for training medical professionals was the impetus for the founding of LegacyMD and Beyond Clinical Competence LLC, and she has since expanded her focus to address the needs of busy business executives and their teams. Cleaves received her B.A. from the University of Maine and her Professional Coaching Certification from the UNH Graduate School's Professional Development and Training division.
As an avocation, Cleaves is the Treasurer and business manager for Portland Playback Theatre Company, with whom she performed and directed for 10 years. She has done theatrical and comedic improvisation for more than 25 years. She’s studied with teachers from Second City, ImprovBoston, Acorn Studios and Laughing Stock Comedy Company. She lives in Westbrook, Maine, with her husband and Human Resources consultant, Mike Miles .
Grace Cleaves is an expert group facilitator and leadership coach for physicians, executives, and other high performers. Her respectful, direct approach teaches skills to those stepping up to new challenges within their organizations, health providers needing support to transition to roles that include administrative duties, and disruptive physicians who need help to develop new behaviors in clinical environments.
